What is Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a biblical approach to finding freedom and restoration through whatever hurt, hang up, or habit you’re dealing with.

The CR community is comprised of believers that courageously enter this safe and beautiful space to get honest about our pain, and the negative ways we may see ourselves, God and others.

Who Is Celebrate Recovery For?
Who Is Celebrate Recovery For?

Only about 1 in 3 people at CR are there for a drug or alcohol addiction. Others attend the meetings for anxiety, depression, grief, sexual integrity, co-dependency, childhood trauma, anger, fear, physical or sexual abuse, eating disorders, shame, domestic violence, pride, etc. Anyone willing and ready to address an issue has a spot in CR!

This 12-step program guides us in establishing new healthy truths and life-giving habits through the power of Jesus Christ as we walk through the 8 principles of Celebrate Recovery found in the Beatitudes in Matthew 5.

Starting Monday, March 18, 2024, we’ll be splitting into two step study groups, one for the men and one for the women. The step study groups will meet weekly.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please reach out to José and Molly Servin. We look forward to connecting!

The 12 Beatitudes

| Matthew 5:1-12 |

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.”
"Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
